Adapting Malin Persson Giolito's novel of the same name, Netflix got into the Swedish TV competition with their first ever original Swedish series, Quicksand (2019). The show takes place in Stockholm, where Stockhomie Maja Norberg (Hanna Ardehn) is arrested for murder after a school shooting that left her rich boyfriend Sebastian (Felix Sandman) dead. She's the sole survivor in the area at the time and is covered in other people's blood, so it's pretty logical that she is ID'd as the killer. Viewers jump back and forth between two different time periods. In the first, we flashback to see her and Sebastian falling in love, hanging out on yachts, and him dealing with an abusive family that owns a lot of hunting rifles. In the second, Maja is being prosecuted for the killing, though the court of public opinion has already decided she's a monster. What's the truth? The truth is it doesn't really matter. We're only here for the sexy Swedes to fulfill our sexual needs! We'd love to put the guys on trial for not taking off enough clothes. William Spetz had us spetzing on our hand when we saw him lying shirtless in bed with a gorgeous young woman. He's well built, and judging by how much she enjoyed their time together, presumably well endowed! Meanwhile, as the rich boyfriend who spirals into a violent depression, Felix Sandman both goes shirtless to show off his Swedish abs and strips down to his boxers to swim in a lake. He's a lean, mean teen dream! We hope their pants get caught in some Quicksand next time!
