Sylvia (2003)

English writer Virginia Woolf committed suicide in 1941. American writer Sylvia Plath did so in 1963. For her portrayal of Ms. Woolf in The Hours (2002), Nicole Kidman won an Academy Award for Best Actress in 2003. Hot on the heels of this victory, Gwyneth Paltrow played Ms. Plath in the biopic Sylvia (2003). No doubt, she was hoping to gain the same Oscar attention. Alas, this flick didn’t do as well. However, Gwyneth did get to share the screen with her luscious leading man Daniel Craig. Under the direction of Christine Jeffs, this R rated drama offers a few romantic scenes despite the fact that the titular character is stuck in a personal hell due to depression and the infidelities of her husband Ted Hughes (Craig). But before Sylvia plunges down the slippery slope of madness which will inevitably lead to her death, she was able to frolic in the ocean with her handsome hubby. As such, we can see Daniel donning a bathing suit as he runs along the beach. If that’s not sizzling enough, the hottie steams up the camera lens when he touts his awesome abs and muscular back. All it takes is one glance at his wet pecs to make you splash your pants! Luckily for us, Mr. Craig also flashes his flesh when in bed with Ms. Paltrow. Just 11 minutes into the movie, we are treated to a view of his beautiful booty. Suffice it to say, the 007 star proves he’s a perfect 10!
