Valmont (1989)

Valmont (1989) is a romantic drama directed by Milos Forman and starring Colin Firth, Annette Bening, and Meg Tilly. Based on the same novel as Dangerous Liaisons (1988), this drama is set in Baroque France and follows a scheming widow and her lover who make a bet that the man cannot seduce a married, honorable woman. However, during his attempts to corrupt the woman, the man finds himself falling in love with her. We’re falling in love with the youthful Colin Firth!
