Bloodstone (1988)

The Bloodstone (1988), the ancient and mystical ruby from the early days of Tamil Indian Maharajas, that is worth an unprecedented fortune and is bestowed with the power of good but with an evil curse attached to it as well is the centerpiece of this action flick out of the sub-continent.  When a small time crook stumbles onto the ruby, he decides the only way he can get it past custom agents, dirty coppers, and bad guys that are hot on his trail, is to slip it into a suitcase of an unsuspecting American couple on their honeymoon (Brett Stimely and Anna Nicholas), in hopes of retrieving it later.  Little does he know that this is going to send him and these honeymooners on the adventure of a lifetime all over India, especially when the newly wed wife is kidnapped by the evil industrialist for his harum of hotties, but also as bait to get the priceless Bloodstone back in his possession.  While the movie is thick with international intrigue and a cast of ultra famous Indian actors, there is still a limited amount of sexy times in this, likely because it was actually shot in a conservative part of southern India over the course of a year, but we do get a shirtless and unbuttoned blue jean ass kicking of a couple of goons trying to break into Brett Stimely's hotel room that's bound to bring back some nostalgia for 80s hunks with quaffed sandy manes in your "sub-continent", if you know what we're talking about!
