Jinxed! (1982)

Jinxed! (1982) is unfortunately an all too appropriate title for this film featuring Bette Midler, Rip Torn, and Ken Wahl, as several difficulties plagued its production. Some of the stars of the film very famously did not get along all that well, and were constantly arguing on set, which is not unheard of in the history of Hollywood movie production, but things took a scarier turn when director Don Siegel suffered a heart attack during production. (He lived a while longer but never made another film.) The plots of the film follows a man and his lounge singer and a young blackjack dealer and a murder plot, and it’s all handled with touches of both drama and comedy. Wahl is casually shirtless in a couple of scenes, showing off his body in nothing but white underwear, while Rip Torn is seen shirtless in the shower and then shirtless on the floor after his character has died—he’s supposed to be totally nude, and we do get a look at his nice ass, but unfortunately he’s wearing flesh colored underwear over his frontal bits.
