Pierce Brosnan's leading man debut and the film that landed John McTiernan the Predator (1987) gig, the supernatural thriller Nomads (1986) stars Brosnanas Jean Charles Pommier, a French anthropologist who has spent years of his life travelling the globe, researching the titular wanderers. Jean Charles gets married and moves to Los Angeles with his wife Niki (Anna-Maria Moneticelli), but it's clear he still longs for life on the road. Oddly enough, the couple’s L.A. home is immediately made the target of interest for a roaming band of fierce, leather-clad hooligans that have a penchant for graffiti. When Pommier ends up in the emergency room, and before he unexpectedly dies, he bites the neck of the attending physician, Dr. Eileen Flax (Lesley-Anne Down), supernaturally transferring all of his memories into her head. Soon after, the surprised doc becomes plagued by hallucinatory flashbacks that give her visions of Pommier’s last days on earth, which spells nothing but trouble for the good doctor. Ends up Pommier had a shrine to a murderer in his house that these punks, who are actually demonic Inuit trickster spirits called Einwetok, wanted to go to so they could worship. We know he'll end up dead, but will Dr. Flax become another victim because she knows too much? Who knows? All Mr. Man cares about is that we got a full-frontal show from a pre-Bond Pierce Brosnan while he gets goofy with his wife in the middle of the night. He wakes her up from a dead sleep, but he's so drop dead sexy she's DTF the minute she wakes up! Nomads has plenty of nads, and the odd flick will have your hand wandering into your underwear!
