Creepshow 2 (1987)

Creepshow 2 is an 80s anthology movie based on Stephen King stories. This ended up being one of King's least memorable movie adaptations, but we'll always remember the segment titled "The Raft." It's about a group of four teens whose relaxing time at the lake takes a deadly turn. The four take a raft out to the middle of the lake, where they encounter a strange oil slick. This ends up being a blob-like monster, and it consumes three of them before making it ashore to consume the third as he makes a daring escape. We wish that "The Raft" had some shaft, since star Paul Satterfield is a gorgeous specimen of 80s hunkiliciousness! Yes, that's a word. Read a book!
