The Advocate (1993)

It’s fifteenth-century France and young lawyer Colin Firth--playing the title role in The Advocate (1993)--ditches Paris for the country life. It’s a simpler place filled with simpler minds, which is how he finds himself representing a pig that’s been accused of murder. But judging from the hassles this film got over excessive nudity, you’d think the pig was on trial for making a porn film. An incredible cast is seen enjoying the earthy good life throughout this production. Colin hows off most of his natural features. His rumbling rumprunner is on full display, but we really could have gone for some Colin Girth!
