Josh Hartnett is back in The Lovers (2015), a romantic and thrilling story that spans the globe and trascends time itself. The action all begins when Jay Fennel (Josh Hartnett), a marine biologist on a mission in the Great Barrier Reef, plunges into the depths of the ocean to save his wife (Tamsin Egerton), who had been trying to excavate a mystical ring from a shipwreck. He ends up brain dead and in a coma in the hospital—with the magic ring on his finger. Soon, his dreams take him to the British Colonial invasion of India in the 1700s where he (now going by the name James Stewart) falls in love with a gorgeous Indian woman (Bipashu Basu) and finds the very same ring he wears in the future.

The twisting and turning plot lines aren't the only thing that will have you focused on the action during The Lovers, though. Hartnett's sensual shirtless body makes an appearance during his rescue, and, well—he's pretty beautiful throughout the rest of the movie, too. This film may partially take place in 2020, but you won't want to wait that long to see it.
